Hmm, what another wonderful day. Well you could say it was a wonderful day all the way up until 8^th period which is when I had my weekly band lesson with the other percussionists. I kind of regret going to that, hell I would’ve rather taken the spelling test I would’ve had to take than go to band lessons. My instructor who shall be named Mr. Band Teacher just brings me down. Now I don’t think it’s his fault, but I just plain out suck. Like music is obviously not one of my strongest things and with there only being 4 percussionists, I’m pretty much the worst one.
Now since I’m smart and realized I stink at band, i didn’t put it on my class list for High School, good idea Cameron
But tomorrow, is Solo Ensemble which is where we go to one of the many schools in Wisconsin and play for a judge. It is required. We can either do that or play in front of the whole class, which is all of our peers so not smart. But here’s the thing,
I always choose to go to the school because I mean, I play in front of an old dude that’s a judge and have him bitch at me about how I could improve, well that’s great I’ll probably never see him again. But if I just played in front of my group they all know me, so not a good idea.
But here’s the thing, you’re scored on a scale of 1-4. 1 being the best, and 4 being the worst. Mr. Band Teacher has this thing where if we get a 3 or 4 we have to play at festival, if we originally chose that, AND in front of the class.
So I have a feeling I shall be playing in front of my class, very soon.

But lets look on the bright side, tomorrow won’t be all bad.
After I play for the dreaded judge and get bitched at by him and Mr. Band Teacher I’m going to see Wolfman with my girlfriend and my best friend. So there’s a plus eh?

Anyway, I think I might make some colour palettes or something later.
Anything to keep me from practicing my solo, the better

Lets start with number one,
01) New Layout
Clearly and obviously, unless you’re blind and SOMEHOW viewing my site in brail, which I don’t even think is possible but we digress, I have put a new layout up. Yes I know, it’s plain, and simple and some may even call it boring. And I’m not going to tell you it was hard to make, because clearly it wasn’t. I just wanted something simple and clean that people can easily navigate around without leaving in frustration. And YES I know it is not centered, it’s not supposed to be.

02) New Ideas
My ideas for the site has changed. I’m not removing the content, but I cannot promise new content every update. Every now and again, I may add something if I have extra time and need something to do but mainly from now on it’ll be a blog. Yes, a real blog with pictures and maybe even some videos. So stay tuned to that, that is if you like reading blogs of 14 year old males.

03) New Intentions
This is basically the same as above, and like I said I do not promise graphics or content but a nice blog shall keep you all in suspense and of course satisfied.

Another thing I’d like to say is coming very soon, after she starts to figure this whole secret door behind webdesigning my best friend, Madi, of almost 10 years (September 1^st will mark this day), is going to be opening a blog/Youtube promotion site for herself.
Once it is up I will be spamming her like crazy and I want you guys to tell her hello and such.
Her website will most pertain to females, sorry guys.

Here’s a little history I’d like to share.

Two years ago, when I was in 6^th grade, I really wanted to make a website that had a real domain, not one of those .co.cc, .co.cr, etc. I was originally going to call the website “Blueberry Slushie” but that failed so instead I called it Watermelonburst.com. I worked ALL DAY February 13 and the next day I bought the domain and opened the website later that night.

For newer visitors you only know the site as Watermelonburst.com. Well really, Watermelonburst started out as Watermelonburst.net but that domain expired last year, marking the one year anniversary, and I didn’t want to renew it so I kept it as the Watermelonburst.com.

Now why did I buy Watermelonburst.com when I had Watermelonburst.net already? Well originally Watermelonburst.net was purchased on GoDaddy.com and hosted on AwardSpace.net. I than moved to Bravenet.com and let me tell you, that was the worst decision. They were a great host and all but one day they were litterally down for like… 3-4 days. That included myself, my hostees, and them. And if you called them it told you to go to their website, but you can’t really do that if the site’s down -.-
So none-the-less I moved to HostMonster with all my domains and that was that.

I have now been with HostMonster ever since and I really like them.
The cost is quite high but I am considering switching over to a different host in the future if they continue to stay open as planned.

Anyway, I hate being sick. Why? Because you’re never sick when you want to be or should be but when you want to be a healthy person and do something fun you’re always sick.
Like Friday for instance.

I was all excited because in Social Studies we were going to do this DWI Trial thing and I was the drunk driver and it was going to be fun and stuff, and then that morning I wake up at 5:43 AM. I never wake up that early on a weekday especially when I go to bed at 11 PM. But than I forced myself back to sleep and then my mom came to wake me up. I went downstairs and was going to have breakfast one of Toaster Strudel and Orange Juice which is my favourite but I couldn’t take one bite, nor was I even hungry which was even weirder.

I than go upstairs to lay down for a bit and I run to the bathroom only to puke like I’ve never puked before. It was disgusting and I will not go into detail and make you read that. But none the less it was disgusting.

Another thing I hate about being sick and throwing up and staying home is that you always stay home on fun days, or days you NEED to be at school. Like for instance I had test corrections due Friday, and I have a big Algebra assignment that is also due Monday but I don’t have my book or anything for that so god knows what I have to do.

But there you go, that was my boring Friday :
I think I’ll be trying to make a website that’s useful.

Anyway I don’t understand how society works now days…
Girls can hold hands, write notes, hugs, and hell some even kiss!
And they’re just best friends.
Now I’m not saying I want to hug, kiss, etc with guys but i’m just saying.
Hell guys stand next to each other, or even simply HUG they’re labeled gay for life.
It’s really weird o___O
But I don’t have much else to say on that subject….

And BTW.
I have a new favourite store
Hollister is so amazzingggg, but it’s so expensive >:(
I love that store, the smell, the clothes, the everything but it’s just really expensive and not exactly my cup of tea to go about spending a ton of money on clothes but recently I’ve spent the most (of my own money) on clothes.
$201 at the West Towne Mall in Madison, WI.
And more than half was at Hollister, but none the less i’ll try to find some pictures and post them.

Anyway I’m now experiencing big writers block and Madi is on Skype with my bitching at me about my typing
So I’ll think of a subject that pisses me off and i’ll post right away so I dont’ forget.
Time to get back to Skype and my flapping Adium duck.

We reopened yesterday from a long hiatus.
On the page that said “we’ll be back whenever” there was no specific date of when we’d be returning from the dead (As my good friend Dretta calls it ;D)
But anyway I’m glad to announce we had 10 unique hits yesterday and I was so epically excited for it, because it was just random people.
So that’s a good thing.

Now here’s the bad part.
Remember in Kindergarten where if you said “Stupid” or something like that you’d get punished and such? Well in modern society teachers seem to be doing less about it.
Today I was at school and this kid Tyler thought racism was funny, and all my teacher, Mrs. Nevermann, had to say about it was “Tyler, be quiet”
(Warning: As you can tell I am using REAL names, please read the disclaimer below if you have questions)

Anyway he was going around calling everybody and everything a ch*nk.
No, not a chunk, a chink
And no I do not encourage this bad behaviour.
Anyway, he’s going around calling everybody and everything this name.
Now, I don’t believe we’ve ever had an Asian student in my school so people haven’t called people names like this and it was just a word people didn’t know.
Finally I said enough and said “Tyler, you seriously have to stop saying that” But honestly who’s going to listen to me anyway?
Many people than asked me what it meant and I thought a good response would be “It’s basically the same as the “n” word except for Asians” Than other people started to get pissed off too, and he finally ended it.
But there was no punishment what-so-ever.
This is where society fails. Epically.

Now on a happier note, I have one more day of school left, tomorrow (which is Tuesday), and than I’m on Winter Break for quite some time.
During this time frame I will be sure to add content.
I was already thinking of working on some icons or blog templates, or something that would be cool.

A lot has also changed with me and the site.
When I redid the site, I made sure all the content was organized and looked good, I also went onto the disclaimer, and credits and edited them.
Now if you scroll down, you see a pretty long disclaimer. Well there are many reasons for this. There have been a few instances where I have gotten in trouble for ranting and posting stuff about people. Well part of what I’m going to try to do to improve that is by using altered names, but sometimes I’m so mad I say screw it and use their real name because they deserve it.
So now if I post something about you and you don’t like it, you have the option to contact me (By clicking Site > Contact Me) and than using one of the many ways, and I’ll alter your name.
Otherwise I’m keeping it as it is, this is supposed to take stress away not add more because you’re a sissy and go tell whoever about what I said. Build a bridge, get over it.

Also affiliates, I lost a few of you because I was down so long.
When I was going through them the ones I thought I’d be down on for sure I was there and the ones that I thought I’d be up I was gone.
So whatever that’s about, I’ll probably reapply in the near future.

Anyway I’m just happy to be back with my website and all the resource stuff is still there.
The portfolio section isn’t up and won’t be for a while as I think of how I want to do it.
But all that will feature is stories, poems, and photography.

Also I want to wish everyone an (early) Merry Christmas. I have two more days of school left (Monday & Tuesday) which I think is stupid since we can’t start anything anyway, but then it’s Christmas break and you will probably see more improvements around the site.

Another thing I’m starting is a “featured content” section.
It’ll be under my blog posts, and will change as the seasons and such change.
